The Virginia Supreme Court found there was no duty of the landowner to protect individuals traveling on an adjoining public highway from natural conditions on the land owners’ property. If you got it wrong, don’t worry. The Court decided the case 4-3, meaning three judges thought the injured party should be able to proceed with the case.
