Our client was riding as a passenger in a car, which was being driven by a family member, when a car collided with them resulting in a serious accident. Both our client and the family member died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. This case was difficult because there were many claims being made by different injured parties, with not enough insurance available. We mediated a settlement to make a recovery for the family, which was nowhere near enough, but it was all that was available and approved by the court.
