Our client was driving to a family member’s home when an oncoming vehicle ran off the road. The other vehicle came back onto the road, overcorrected, and crossed the centerline, running off the road for a second time. Our client swerved to avoid a collision. Once both vehicles returned to the road, the vehicles collided head-on causing damage to both vehicles.
Our client sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital for treatment which spanned multiple days. Most unfortunately, the other driver was uninsured so we had to resolve for policy limits. There was $100,00 available on the policy for his vehicle and they tendered the full amount. This is another classic example of the importance of having a lot of insurance – obtain the highest policy you can afford to get!
